Some of the qualities we are looking for are:
- Customer service skills and experience. We serve our clients regularly in person, on the phone, and via email. All customer interactions must be friendly, professional and prompt. You will be key in helping our clients feel supported and responded to.
- Organizational effectiveness, confidentiality, attention to detail, and a strong ability to multi-task and prioritize. Accuracy and timeliness is critical. People depend on us and we strive to deliver.
- General computer skills and experience: Word, Excel, and Outlook are used regularly. Our payroll software will be unfamiliar but general data processing skills and the ability to quickly learn computer concepts is needed.
- A desire to stay active. Phone calls, faxes, and emails come in and payrolls go out. Problems arise and are solved throughout the day. There is no down time and you will stay engaged and encouraged throughout the day.
- A sense of humor and humility are also required.
